Dana Mission To Burma
In November 2008, Saddhamma Foundation members traveled to Myanmar to deliver much needed Hurricane Relief donations as well as to implement
essential health and nutrition projects at the Panditarama Forest Meditation Center and the Gant Gaw Myaing monastery.
During our one month visit, we thoroughly inspected conditions at Panditarama Forest Center and the Gant Gaw Myaing monastery. Our aim was to inspect the daily life at these centers in a sustained
manner and ascertain how we could best help them and distribute the donations we’d received in 2008. For several months, we had been planning a hygiene education project, and as soon as we
arrived, we went straight to work.
Our successfully completed projects fall into three categories:
- Aid to the Venerable Sayadaw U Sasana and His Novice
Training Center, Gant Gaw Myaing monastery
- Nutrition and Water Purification
- Kitchen Hygiene
